- I discover some strange behaviour with some modems (Rockwell and At&t
- based chipsets). When I let one modem call the other, finally one
- modem gets connected to the other (with connect result code and rlsd
- on) while the other doesn't. The latter wait's 5 seconds before
- stating no carrier. Requested protocol is lapm.
- The funny thing is, that the modem which gets connected will receive
- continous data from the second modem. This seems to me, as if the
- second modem still tries to establish a special protocol stack.
- Does this sound reasonable?
